Phase Change
Some phase changes are more common and easier for us to visualize. For example, you have probably witnessed freezing, melting, and vaporization just by making ice, melting ice, and boiling water.Condensation often occurs on the outside of cold beverage containers.

Too Hot / Too cold
Water's boiling point 212 f degrees because of its molecular structure however compared to wood water would heat up a lot faster. Wood is more dense then water therefore leaving wood to heat up at a slower rate then water. But compared to wood steel would heat up even slower because of its metal properties leaving water to be the one to heat up the fastest out of the three.

Doppler Radar
The basics of radars is that a beam of energy, called radio waves, is emitted from an antenna. As they strike objects in the atmosphere, the energy is scattered in all directions with some of the energy reflected directly back to the radar.
The larger the object, the greater the amount of energy that is returned to the radar. That provides us with the ability to "see" rain drops in the atmosphere. In addition, the time it takes for the beam of energy to be transmitted and returned to the radar also provides is with the distance to that object.
Early National Weather Service radars were transmitting energy and listening for returned energy simultaneously. This is why old images from old radars showed a sweeping line. With each sweep of the radar an object its position would update.
With the advent of Doppler radar, instead of a continuous transmission of energy it emits extremely short bursts of radio waves, called pulses. It then "listens" for and returned energy.
By their design, Doppler radar systems can provide information regarding the movement of targets as well their position. When the WSR-88D transmits a pulse of radio waves, the system keeps track of the phase (shape, position, and form) of the transmitted radio waves.
By measuring the shift (or change) in phase between a transmitted pulse and a received echo, the target's movement directly toward or away from the radar can be calculated, called radial velocity. A positive phase shift implies motion toward the radar and a negative shift suggests motion away from the radar.

Interference
Interference is the reaction when more then one wave is in a medium. The different between constructive interference and destructive interference is that in a constructive interference the crest of a wave is super positioned with the crest of another wave to increase the amplitude. And in a destructive interference is when the crest of a wave is super positioned with the trough of another wave to decrease the amplitude.

Standing Wave
Today in class we did standing wave, we basically swing one end of the spring back and forth over and over again along the floor. Which the result of doing that is called a periodic wave. I learned that standing wave is a pattern of a wave that looks stationary or not moving.

Electricity Generator
I thing that the solar system is interesting. It'is clean, and is renewable.
The bad thing is that is not on demand, and it takes a lot of space.
A solar power generator uses the sun's energy to create electricity. Unlike a photoelectric panel, which converts sunlight directly into electrical current, a solar thermal generator uses the sun's heat to create electricity.

Simple Harmonic Motion
I would know when something is simple harmonic motion by the way it moves if the object is moving back and forth then that will be simple harmonic motion.
Ex.
this is simple harmonic motion because is going back ad forth.
this is simple harmonic motion because as you see is going back and forth.
when you touch the strings from a guitar the go back and forth, there for it's simple harmonic motion.

Homework Check
I have done all of my homework but in SIS says that i'm missing "Insulator and Conductor"blog.. I remember i gave it to you Miss.

No Wires World
Wireless Power has the ability to deliver major advancements in industries and applications that are dependent on physical, contacting connectors, which can be unreliable and prone to failure.
Benefits of Wireless Power
- Reduce costs associated with maintaining direct connectors
- Greater convenience for the charging of everyday electronic devices
- Safe power transfer to applications that need to remain sterile or hermetically sealed
- Electronics can be fully enclosed, reducing the risk of corrosion due to elements such as oxygen and water.
- Robust and consistent power delivery to rotating, highly mobile industrial equipment
- Delivers reliable power transfer to mission critical systems in wet, dirty and moving environments.
Van de Graaff
A Van de Graaff generator is an electrostatic generator which uses a moving belt to accumulate electric charge on a hollow metal globe on the top of an insulated column, creating very high electric potentials. It produces very high voltage direct current (DC) electricity at low current levels.
When the Van de Graaff generator starts charging, it transfers the charge to the person who is touching it. Since the person's hair follicles are getting charged to the same potential, they try to repel each other. This is why the hair actually stands up. It would not make a difference if the polarity of the Van de Graaff generator were reversed. As long as the person is insulated, the charge will build up (assuming, of course, that the hair is clean and dry).

Circuit Diagram
We use symbols for our circuit diagrams because the represent something.

Using symbols in circuit diagrams makes it so much easier. Each electronic component has a symbol. After seeing a few circuit diagrams, you’ll quickly learn how to distinguish the different symbols. If you know the symbols you will quickly get whats going on the circuit diagram.

Pretzel Circuit
Pretzels-Electrons
Students-Light bulb
Pretzel Bag-Battery
Electrons travel around the circuit. They pick up energy (volts) from the energy supply ( battery, generator). They deposit their energy (volts) in the items along the circuit (bulbs, resistors, etc). The electron cannot have any energy (volts) left when it completes the circle back to the battery.

Electricity So Far
So far i have learned that electricity is a form of energy resulting from a current, which means a flow of electric charges. Electricity travels by current. Electricity gives a wide variety of well-known effects, such as lightning, static electricity, electromagnetic induction and electric current.

Electric Vocabulary
I have learned that electricity is a form of energy resulting from a current, which means a flow of electric charges. A generator converts mechanical energy to electricity, mechanical energy-the ability to do work. An electrical current is carried by a circuit.
